Keitaro Okura

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Sociology at Yale University.

My research interests broadly encompass immigration, race/ethnicity, education, politics, health, and public policy. For my ongoing dissertation work, I am exploring the ethnoracial dynamics of national identity and cultural belonging in the United States. I have experience employing a variety of research methods, including conducting survey experiments, analyzing observational data, and carrying out in-depth interviews.

My research has been published or forthcoming in peer-reviewed academic journals such as Sociology of Education, International Migration Review, and Identities.
